Prime Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd was established in 1997 by Joe O'Neill and Bill Mitchell and is today still run by Joe O'Neill who holds the AFS Licence. The company syndicates thoroughbreds and currrently has horses in training in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Prime Thoroughbreds horse are ttrained by the best with our trainers being David Hayes and Mark Kavanagh in Victoria and South Australia, Anthony Cummings and Kris Lees in NSW, Mel Eggleston in Queensland and Charlie Goggin in Tasmania. Our horse consistently compete on the big days and we have won races at Flemington, Caulfield, Moonee Valley, Sandown, Randwick, Rosehill, Canterbury, Warwick Farm, Eagle Farm, Doomben, Morphettville, Cheltenham, Victoria Park, Elwick and Launceston as well as at most of the best provincial and country tracks in the states we race in. Our best horses have been Calming, Under Command, Zero Drama, Holding, Maha Chakri, Desktop Lover, Transparent Lass, Greenmount Belle, Huiskes, Hidden Wonder, Captain Chaos, Unabated, Lord Monty, Shine On Anna, Sun Glazed, Zelady, Horrocks, Sandasta and Lunchtime Legend. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our clients reasonably priced shares in horses that win races. Our share prices range from $3,900 to $14,500 per share. These shares are in eight or ten owner partnerships. Currently we have hundreds of owners racing horses under our banner with the Royal Blue, White Star and Red cap becoming amongst the most reconisable colours in Australia.
