You may recall I spoke with you about 3 weeks ago regarding trying the Heritage Downs products for my itch ridden pony. I ended up buying the shampoo, conditioner, coat oil, bugz off face cream and greasy cream as well as the bug spray. To say I am amazed is an understatement. Rennie was badly affected by the midges – biting his sheath, rubbing his head and neck – very cranky pony. Well I washed him once – yes once – did the conditioner, coat oil and lathered him in cream over the face and used the greasy cream for the open sores. He was rugged usual although I did splurge on a new hooded mesh rug rather than just a combo. I used the bug spray a few times and put the Bugz Off cream and Greasy cream on every couple of days for a week. That was 2 weeks ago and I am amazed at the transformation – not just in his coat but in his overall attitude – he is no longer cranky and my daughter thinks he is a new pony. I have also washed my other horses with it – not for bug reasons – just because it is a lovely product and they are better for keeping it natural. So a HUGE THANKYOU to Heritage Downs for such a great product.
